Keeping Dreams Alive

GARRETT PAULUS

GARRETT PAULUS was a volunteer with Camp Sunburst for the last 6 years of his life, and worked 5 week-long sessions as a Camp Counselor.  Garrett also donated his time creating and editing brochures, newsletters, tee-shirts, and other promotional materials for Camp Sunburst.

Garrett won numerous awards for his volunteer work with AIDS organizations.

Born in San Francisco, Garrett was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in 1986.
Garrett passed away in April of 2006.

FROM MILLA

Garrett came to me four years ago with the fabulous idea of putting together a concert benefit to raise funds and awareness for the tremendous work of Camp Sunburst.  In the past three benefits, we succeeded in raising over $17,000 in unrestricted funds for the camp, and we had a great time doing it. Please help us in our continued effort and celebration of the remarkable work of Sunburst Projects!

In April of 2006, Garrett’s family, friends, the entire Sunburst community and I mourned his passing.  We lost an immense person with a capacious heart, who inspired personal growth, compassion, courage and strength in all those he touched.

This year, the 4th
“Keeping Dreams Alive” benefit
is again a tribute to
GARRETT PAULUS
and his remarkable work.

Milla Milojkovic

Join us for a fun-filled evening of Jazz & Beats brought by noted San Francisco band Spaceheater, along with vocalist Milla.
Proceeds benefit the remarkable work of Camp Sunburst.
